H​ülya is a Dream!
‘Studio H​ülya’ was born out of its founder’s dream of taking up a creative endeavour alongside her long-standing career in the development sector. The founder has worked with the United Nations and a host of other development agencies for over 25 years and is now venturing a new horizon with both a creative and social perspective.
Hülya’ is a Turkish word that means a ‘dream’. Hence, true to its meaning, ‘Hülya’ is about dreams. The founder’s dreams, the artisan’s dreams, the wearer’s dreams, and societal dreams. The idea is to connect people through the dream of Hülya and collaborate in giving back to society thereby creating social value. With a deep commitment to social issues, Hülya is an effort to create the right mix of creativity with a cause, and profit with purpose. Hülya celebrates free-spirit, the resolve to dream on, and rides the passion to bring together commercial interest with social pursuit.
This fairly new homegrown brand works with both sterling silver and costume jewellery. It creates and curates’ designs, with a keen eye for uniqueness. Hülya works with artisans, vendors, and manufacturers across India to put together jewellery that is worth a buy and is fit to be a collector’s muse.
Hülya draws inspiration from global cultures and art forms translating their distinctiveness into pieces of traditional, modern, and fusion jewellery.
